How can I apply?
We are accepting online applications. You can fill out the application right away by clicking on Forms>Apply.

Who can join the IO?
Performance majors, amateur players, retired professionals, students, people aged 12 and older who want to participate in the orchestra, are welcome.

What if my child is under 12?
Please check HOLA’s website to apply to our different programs.

What if I don’t have an instrument?
We can provide one for you. All you need to do is fill out the application on the top of this page “Loan an Instrument”.

Is there an audition process?
Auditions are not tied to format. Our orchestra is appointed as a member of the orchestra based on the application. Concert master, the first chair, and the leaders of each sections are determined after discussing the schedule with the conductor for auditioning.

If I am not a musician, can I still get involved?
Yes. We welcome volunteers every week to help us in different tasks. Sign up here!

Where and when does orchestra rehearsal take place?
HOLA's new Arts and Recreation Center will be our home as we learn, practice, prepare and perform the music of our beloved composers. We meet once a week on Mondays from 7PM to 9PM.

What will I do as a member of the orchestra?
When you become a member of an orchestra, you will participate in various performances. Together, we will share our talents and passions with the community. We will learn and perform from classical music to modern music, music from different cultures, as well as great symphonies and masterpieces.
