Ali Conte

Originally from New York, Ali is excited to be a part of an intergenerational and multicultural community of musicians in Los Angeles. Ali received her Bachelor’s degree in Music from Stony Brook University and her Graduate Advanced Certificate in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music at CUNY Queens College. While in school, she founded an active private studio for students preparing for All State and All County music festivals and for college and conservatory auditions. In her experiences teaching individual and group lessons and conducting symphonic band ensembles, Ali prioritizes being an accessible and inclusive mentor. Ali has been a member of various classical ensembles including the New York Youth Symphony, the North Shore Music Festival, and the Doctors Orchestral Society of New York. Equally passionate about community mental health, Ali recently completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine and currently volunteers as a crisis counselor at the Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center.
